This whole tradition–the idea that women need be preserved in glass so as not to “ruin” themselves, lest they diminish their sexual value by “giving it away”–restricts the lived autonomy of women in ways I can’t even begin to articulate. - Michelle: Just saw some spiders on my bathroom ceiling. Killed the male and watched the female stumble over panicking at what happened to her mate..squished her too. Discovered they had a baby that had just witnessed me murder its parents. Let him live to maybe one day avenge his family's death. I like the drama.

In the largest undertaking of its kind in Europe, a 6,200-tonne building has successfully shifted in one piece 60 metres westward after a 19-hour journey. The old management building of the former machine factory Oerlikon in Zurich had to make way for some new railway tracks.
