Look! A Sunrise!
I love new year’s eve parties that last past sunrise. It’s a decent indication of the level of fun that was had.
This year I barely realised the new year hype thing. This last week has been so jam packed with activities, the nye do turned out to be, for me, just another day (well, night) spent out. I’ve been speding a good few days celebrating the end of the year and the changing of the guard, if you will. Hikes, horses, rock climbing, abseiling, more hiking, beach trips, house parties. A grand way to end of an otherwise dismal year, I’d say.
It’s been a rocky few months, as I’ve oft mentioned in previous entries (I think), and I’m have been immensely grateful and happy to be spending some time with one of my best mates…and being sufficiently entertained by her.
If, as some say, the way you enter your year is an indication of how it will, on the whole, transpire, I should be looking forward to a fun, active time. Ah, if that is to be, I’d be most chuffed.
I’d also recommend a pool party as one of the best ways to see in any new year :-)
Just be sure to wash off all the chlorine afterwards :-P
