REBIRTH of GAEA - Flowing Meditation (by Jesse Michael Newman)
Life is a puzzle. Beautifully put.
A poem by Julie Peters called Tantric Philosophy on “finding God in the softness inside my mouth, the deep bruise of birthmarks, the red-cheeked back of my hand, and muscles like meat before I tenderize them”. :-)
Julie came in 1st place on the 2nd of January with a score of 56.2 at the Vancouver Poetry Slam.

There’s a story in every paradise…
What looks like paradise to the untrained eye, always holds a story behind its beauty. There’s more to it than what it first appears. And I’m talking people here, if you didn’t catch that.
We all have our secrets, our stories, our deepest, darkest thoughts and memories that would break at least one heart if the truth came tumbling out. Next time the truth shatters you to pieces, remember what damage yours could do. It won’t take back the pain, or change what’s happened, but it will allow you to accept that we all have a past; that’s just how life is.
“Accept that sometimes you’re the pigeon, sometimes you’re the statue.”
There are days we’re on top of everything, and days we’re lying in the gutter. As long as you remember to keep your eyes on the prize, look up at the stars, it will all pass in time, the good, the bad and the in-between. Nothing is permanent, not even the expansive cities we base our civilizations on. They’re merely a temporary resting place we checked into a couple of hundred years ago, and will one day check out of. I’ve walked through Roman ruins, seen history dating back thousands of years, and now I’m getting off topic, it’s time to wrap it up; there are bigger stories behind everything, and explanations aren’t always ours to know. Let it be.
